Thank you for your visiting.
In here, Jonesboro in Arkansas has gotten cooler weather especially at early morning and night.
I cannot wait for Winter season coming!!
Last week, I studied about what advertisements convey its messages to the customers and how it affects consumer behavior in Advertising class. Today I would like to write about packaging image!!
I found an article that focused on healthy food and talked about how to create and design its package image is important. Foods and beverages are part of our daily life. In this way, we define our consuming habits every time, and choose a product instead another one.
The way to attract and appeal to the consumer effectively is by making the right decisions of graphic and structural packaging design.
Generally, the graphic design of low-calorie or light products was not very attractive, and they used to be related to restrictive diets and did not look tasty at all so far. Nowadays, people’s interest of health care has increased remarkably. As health trends grow rapidly, more and more packages show information on the main panel about caloric values, or other important product features, such as quantity of calcium they provide.
The new packaging design trends are not only a set of graphic resources; another major change is the style of the package texts. Brands use this to approach consumers in a more relaxed and friendly way, in a low tone of voice. The new brand strategies aim to represent consumers’ interests more than their own.
There are many products that are not precisely recommended to lose weight that have been adapted to the new era. Light products, are now a synonym of nature and wellness. This is evidently defining consumers’ way of life, and that is exactly what the marketing teams need to know to identify what the new consumers’ needs and interests are.
I believe package design is important to convey company’s message and to impress its brand image to customers. Package image could share information on the features of the product, such as size and measurements, and more printed on the packaging of a product could help customers to see if the product fits their needs. Package design plays a vital role in the branding process of the product and consumer behavior!!!!
